Over the last three years, Annie Hall has become a cornerstone of FSI’s Development organization — operating as what her colleagues affectionately call their “Engineering right-hand lady.” In her role, Annie works across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and external stakeholders to ensure that enhancements and feature work are properly coordinated, queued, and delivered. The result: faster solutions, clearer alignment, and better outcomes for the healthcare teams who rely on FSI every day.
“It’s been a period of huge growth for the Product and Engineering teams,” she said. “My role has evolved alongside that growth — both in how we plan and how we execute.”
Before joining FSI, Annie worked as a Business Analyst at a consulting firm. With an undergraduate degree in biochemistry, she’d always been drawn to healthcare settings — even if the path wasn’t linear.
“I came across the job posting on LinkedIn and was immediately interested,” she said. “It felt like a chance to serve a customer base that overlapped with hospitals and healthcare, but in a new setting.”
That leap into a new world — both the healthcare operations ecosystem and the world of CMMS and facilities management — ended up becoming a fit.
One of Annie’s favorite projects so far has been the rollout of the Inbox feature, designed to streamline on-the-go technician work.
“It was such a rewarding project,” she said. “We saw the engineering team get genuinely excited about what they were building — and then saw how much our HTM and HFM customers appreciated it on the other side.”
The success of Inbox laid the groundwork for additional enhancements to support healthcare facility and HTM professionals in the field. Annie is especially excited about how FSI is incorporating AI into future workflows.
“We’re giving customers a chance to dip their toes into AI in a way that’s meaningful to their day-to-day. There’s a lot more coming that will shape how HFM teams work.”
Despite being fully remote, FSI has invested in culture — which Annie says has made a lasting difference compared to other organizations she has worked for.
Recently, the team participated in a virtual cook-a-long with Ted Pappas — celebrated chef from The Great American Recipe. “It was such a fun and interactive way to come together,” she said. Annie also participates in FSI’s Movie Club, a rotating discussion group that meets for 30 minutes to talk film and connect across departments.
“These activities reinforce that we’re ‘One Team,’ no matter which department we sit in,” she said.
Annie has also had the opportunity to meet customers face-to-face at industry events. In 2024, she attended the CSHE Conference alongside FSI teammate Joe Mastrogiacomo, connecting with healthcare facility leaders as FSI expands its presence on the West Coast.
She’s looking forward to additional regional events this year — including several in Texas — where she’ll continue to see customer workflows up close and hear directly from the field.
With major product enhancements underway and an expanding ability to support healthcare facilities at scale, Annie sees the next chapter at FSI as both customer-driven and innovation-focused.
“It’s been exciting to build things that have a real impact on technicians and facility teams,” she said. “And we’re just getting started.”
